Customer Incentive Plan Senior Analyst, Costa Rica

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As a Customer Incentive Plan Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in managing accruals and payments for our customers within the Safety and Industrial Business Group division. This role involves collaborating with counterparts in Business Groups, Finance, and Enabling Customer Operations to leverage curiosity and drive results.

The impact you will make in this role

• Perform data analytics to monitor and assess monthly rebate and rebate accrual results for accuracy.
• Identify areas for improvement in market development funds (MDF) and rebate issues, and coordinate the implementation of these improvements.
• Create, analyze, and prepare REC296 SOX compliance reports.
• Investigate, enter tickets, or confer with analysts by Sales District for GL Reconciliation.
• Manage deadlines effectively to ensure metrics are achieved.

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English.

• Experience with SAP; knowledge of Vistex is a plus.
• Strong influencing skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities, with experience working with diverse teams to evaluate and address issues.
