Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Wake Forest, NC, is seeking part-time Warehouse Workers to assist customers and handle storage containers and shipments. Training will be provided for forklift operation, with duties including loading/unloading, paperwork, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure that the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
