Job summary

Bogota Savings Bank in New Jersey is seeking a Teller to deliver high-quality customer service and process transactions accurately. You will help strengthen customer relationships by identifying banking needs and referring customers to additional services that support their financial goals.

No prior banking experience required; training provided. This role requires standing, cash handling, and maintaining accurate cash drawers, with opportunities to learn bank products and promotions and advance

Qualifications

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently following bank policies.
• Provide friendly, professional service in-person and over the phone.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to bank representatives for additional products and services.
• Maintain and balance your cash drawer within established security limits.
• Ensure compliance with security, operational, and regulatory standards (BSA and CIP).
• Assist with daily balancing, branch proofing, and reconciliation processes.
• Stay current on all bank products, services, and promotions to better support customer needs.
• Participate in required training sessions, meetings, and audits to maintain operational readiness.
• Be cross-trained to perform Head Teller responsibilities as needed.
