Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking friendly, outgoing associates to join our fast-paced team in Overland Park, KS. You will be the main point of contact for customers, delivering fast, friendly service and high-quality products in a clean, welcoming environment.

We offer competitive pay from $15.25 to $15.75 per hour plus digital tips, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth. Must be at least 16 years old and capable of standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment; knife skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream) efficiently.
• Operate cash register: handle, balance and follow cash procedures.
• Effectively handle customer complaints/issues.
• Takes delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
