West Coast Convenience is the parent company of Loop Neighborhood Market, Poppy Market, and other gas brands, headquartered in Union City, CA. Since 1978, we operate convenience stores, fuel stations, and car washes across California.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Perform basic math including change calculations.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol sales as required by law.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies per policy.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperatures (coolers, outdoors, station).

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register during the shift, keep money balanced and assist customers.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean and professional-looking.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly store environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports per guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
