Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, stock and prepare food, and process payments at the plaza's POS system. You will contribute to a clean, efficient, and welcoming travel-plaza experience for customers.

The role requires ability to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-site responsibilities across our Northeast locations.

Qualifications

• Interacts with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers.
• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately.
• Follow food handling procedures: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
