Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in New Jersey is seeking a Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, clean and stock facilities, process payments at the POS, and assist in preparing and serving a variety of food items to travelers.

You will work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and join a team focused on pace, quality and customer satisfaction across our travel plazas.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and friendly attitude when interacting with travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service to travelers at the plaza.
• Operate POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Prepare and serve quality food items.
• Stock, stock rotation and maintain cleanliness of workstation.
• Ensure food safety practices and proper labeling.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and cash handling procedures.
• Cross-sell and upsell products to customers.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
