Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Team Member to join our travel plaza team in New Jersey. You will deliver friendly customer service, help with cleaning and stocking, and process payments at the POS.

The role includes preparing and serving food, while maintaining quality and safety standards across all duties. As part of a fast-paced network across 80+ plazas, you’ll engage travelers, support daily operations, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the travel plaza.
• Clean, stock, and maintain appearance of the workstation and dining areas.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately following policies.
• Prepare, serve, and package food items according to brand standards.
• Cross-sell and upsell products where appropriate.
• Stay knowledgeable about products and services available at the plaza.
• Follow health, safety, and brand guidelines at all times.
