Job summary

Capital Chevrolet of Wake Forest is seeking a dependable Shuttle Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for customers while their vehicles are in service. You will create a welcoming experience, follow routes and schedules, and maintain the shuttle’s cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a valid license and a customer-first attitude, with a focus on punctuality, professionalism, and safe driving practices. This position is on-site at the Wake Forest dealership and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous shuttle driving, delivery driving, or customer transportation experience is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to passenger safety.
• Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to maintain a reliable schedule.
• Good navigational skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and customer-first attitude.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from the dealership and designated locations.
• Provide a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience for every passenger.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-ups and drop offs.
• Use GPS and navigation tools to plan efficient routes and reach destinations safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the shuttle vehicle.
• Monitor fuel levels, ensure the vehicle is properly fueled, and report any maintenance or vehicle concerns.
• Keep track of fuel expenses and communicate related information to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
