Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member in North Carolina to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

No experience is required, but retail or farming knowledge is preferred. The role involves cash handling, stocking, merchandising, and ensuring safety and care for live birds where applicable, across shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities: Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and stock areas.
• Participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise and perform basic stocking.
• Perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and baler where age permits.
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary customer experience.
