Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Team Member to engage customers and fellow team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. The role emphasizes flexible hours, strong product knowledge, and safe handling of merchandise and birds.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or farming knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participation in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties and execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler as required (if over 18).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure birds are cared for and poultry areas are maintained.
• Complete all documentation and be ready to perform other duties as assigned.
