Job summary

Daiso USA is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, maintain attractive product displays, and accurately process transactions to keep the store welcoming and efficient.

As a Lead Shift handler, you will coordinate shift activity, assign tasks, support team members, assist with opening/closing, and promptly escalate customer or operational issues to store leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years in retail or customer service preferred.
• Experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, or shift support is a plus for Lead Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer customer questions about products, promotions, discounts, and special offers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions to support the shopping experience.
• Upsell through appropriate product recommendations and maintain awareness of new products and promotions.
• Promptly resolve customer concerns when able and escalate issues to store leadership when necessary.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock when low.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, checkout area, and back stock area.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process payments.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
