Dollar General Corporation is hiring an associate to serve as the customer contact, help maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, greet customers, and operate the cash register to complete sales, while protecting company assets.

You will unload trucks, build displays, stock and rotate products, assist shoppers in locating items, and keep the store clean in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise for the sales floor.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons; store stock or move to sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face stock.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
