Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to support customer service, merchandising, and sales transactions. You will greet customers, help locate items, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and assist with display upkeep to optimize profitability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise to the sales floor.
• Follow processes to receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, itemize purchases, and provide bagging.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety compliance.
