Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking Sales Associates in Sumter to keep our stores clean, inviting, and running smoothly for every customer. You will greet customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, organized shopping environment.

Expect to assist in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper age verification while providing friendly service. Weekends and holidays are required, with opportunities for advancement and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales following age verification rules.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to boost sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and out, including restrooms and exterior areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh, full merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments (including deli) as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
