Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 3636 in Sumter, SC. You’ll greet customers, run the register accurately, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe while assisting with deli and other tasks as needed.

This role offers both full-time and part-time hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods and work indoors/outdoors in various conditions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for transactions.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Upsell and provide friendly customer service.
• Keep store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and lot areas.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandise presentation.
• Assist across departments as needed and follow safety procedures.
• Be a team player and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
