Job summary

Duchess is hiring a Team Member for 2nd shift to support a great customer experience. You will welcome customers, process transactions using POS systems, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and follow safety/compliance rules for tobacco, alcohol, and more.

Prior retail or food service experience is a plus but not required; strong tech comfort and a customer-first mindset are essential for success in this role.

• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with technology and modern tools used in store operations

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
• Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
