Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Retail Store Associate in the Boston area to deliver friendly, customer-focused service across departments. You will greet customers, handle cashier duties, restock shelves, assist pharmacy staff when needed, and help maintain a clean, efficient store floor.

The role offers about 18 hours per week, with a base pay range of $15.00–$22.00 per hour and eligible benefits. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties - handling cash, checks and credit card transactions.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are stocked and operational.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and supporting pharmacy operations.
• Promoting CVS services and loyalty programs to support company goals.
