Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly, fast service at the checkout and help customers with products and services in a high-volume store. You will greet customers, handle payments, and support merchandising to create an appealing shopping experience.

You will also assist in training new hires, maintain POS accuracy, and uphold Kohl’s brand standards with a focus on teamwork and reliability during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and ability to multi-task.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products, operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and process payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandising processes.
• Assist in training new hires on POS procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and restocking.
