Job summary

Jerry’s Knollwood location is seeking a Part-Time Front End Associate, reporting to Front End Manager. The role is unionized and offers a progressive pay scale up to $18.00 per hour based on experience, with Sunday–Saturday varied hours.

You will ring up customers, help maintain a clean store, and participate in a team-focused environment, with perks including store discount, employee assistance, and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Problem solves customer questions and/or concerns (you may need to call a manager)
• Help maintain a clean and safe store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
• Position functions and physical requirements include frequent lifting to 50 lbs., reaching, standing, and operating scanners and registers
• OCCASIONAL: lifting over 50 lbs., squatting, stooping, walking; equipment operation with calculator
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include 15% movement per shift for frequent tasks and less than 15% for occasional tasks
