Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market is hiring team members across all shifts to support our fast-paced stores. You will interact with customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, safe environment at the station and surrounding areas.

We welcome entry-level applicants and offer training to develop skills. Expect flexible schedules, teamwork, and opportunities to grow within the company while delivering excellent service and a positive store experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a quick timeline.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Perform basic math including calculation of change.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco/alcohol (as required).
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies per guidelines.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register and balance cash at shift end.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash related issues when needed.
• Prepare shift reports according to company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell products to boost store sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the supervisor.
