Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier to engage customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming store environment in Boca Raton.

You will greet customers, operate the POS, participate in the Change Round Up program, assist in training new cashiers, and keep the sales floor neat and safe. Flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor
