Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring for a Cashier/Sales Associate at Store 5767 in Grayling, MI. You will greet customers, operate the register, and help keep the store clean and safe while delivering friendly service.

This role offers full-time and part-time schedules with weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required; training is provided to ensure knowledge of lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales compliance.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• English reading, writing, speaking required.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs; frequently lift 10 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and out, including restrooms and parking area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain neat merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
