Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Customer Service Associate (Cashier) in Gastonia, NC. You will be the first and last point of contact for customers, delivering outstanding service at checkout and assisting with product returns. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.

The position requires friendly, honest, and proactive individuals who can operate the POS system, greet customers, and help them find the right materials for their projects. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to travel to other stores if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with projects, recommend products, and enhance their purchase experience.
• Provide excellent customer service and exceed expectations.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Process transactions at checkout using POS and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Open and close registers and manage cash handling.
