Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries in Powell, OH is seeking a friendly, reliable Retail Cashier to join our store team. You’ll greet customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment while supporting our mission to fund job training and community programs.

As the face of the store, you’ll assist with stocking, displays, promotions, and safety. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or cashier experience is a plus (6 months preferred).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner (in person and by phone).
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts.
• Promote the Change Round Up program to fuel community impact.
• Keep the checkout area and front of store clean and organized.
• Bag and wrap merchandise with care.
• Assist with merchandise displays, stocking, and returns to the sales floor.
• Support store promotions, signage, and seasonal campaigns.
• Contribute to store safety, security, and team goals.
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed.
