Jenkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Homosassa is seeking a dedicated Cashier to receive and process payments for services rendered or parts purchased. You will explain service recommendations, prepare estimates and invoices, and handle cash and electronic payments while maintaining accurate records in the computer system.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of money-handling experience, a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a math aptitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year money-handling experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and appreciative fashion
• Answer telephone inquiries and route calls quickly and efficiently
• Receive and process payment for products and services using electronic point-of-sale processing equipment
• Process credit and debit transactions, checks, and other forms of payment
• Operate system software to accurately maintain customer data
• Encourage repeat business by acknowledging the customer's purchase with gratitude
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
