Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cashier to join our store team. You will provide friendly customer service, process transactions at the POS, and keep the sales area clean while helping with stocking as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, stocked area.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to guests and address needs.
• Prioritize tasks according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
