Job summary

TravelCenters of America operates travel centers with Grab ‘N Go foods and essential services. The Cashier is a key member of the store team delivering excellent customer service and handling transactions at a POS.

You’ll maintain a clean, well‑stocked area, assist customers quickly, and follow safety guidelines while supporting store needs and team communication. This role offers flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic POS knowledge or willingness to learn
• Cash handling skills preferred
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude
• Process transactions on a POS register; keep food/beverage area clean and merchandise stocked
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
