Job summary

The GIANT Company in West Chester, PA is hiring for a front-end associate. You will scan and enter items at checkout, handle cash, bag groceries, and assist with stocking and front-end displays.

Qualified candidates are expected to meet safety and attendance standards, be able to work 4-hour shifts or longer, and comply with PPE and store policies. Training periods apply as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties.

• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.

• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have technical training (job specific requirement).

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare required equipment and supplies.
• Set up checkout areas and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Tally items, take money, and make change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts as needed.
