Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Cashier in Ohio to deliver friendly, efficient service at the front end, handle transactions, and promote store programs. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help maintain a welcoming checkout area.

The role requires accuracy with cash handling, basic product knowledge, and teamwork with other associates. Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within our family-owned store.

Qualifications

• Retail or cashier experience preferred.
• Accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Process cash, credit, debit transactions accurately.
• Follow cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes procedures.
• Educate customers about Rural King loyalty programs.
• Maintain clean, stocked checkout areas and assist with training.
