Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly cashier to deliver excellent customer service at our travel centers. You will process POS transactions, maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area, and keep merchandise organized to help returning travelers hit the road with confidence.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area; stock merchandise.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with store needs.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish strong communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
