Job summary

Runnings is seeking a part-time Cashier in Homer Glen, IL to provide excellent customer service as customers enter and leave the store. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, process transactions with the KCX cash register, and ensure accurate cash handling.

You will also assist with pricing and stocking merchandise, handle returns, and perform other duties as assigned. A flexible schedule with possible night or weekend coverage is expected; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail or cashier role preferred.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Responsible for handling customer returns.
• Other duties as assigned
