Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and help them locate products. You will operate cash registers and scanners, balance the till, and ensure accurate totals.

Applicants should have excellent customer service, good verbal communication, and basic math for making change. On-the-job training will be provided; ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the location.
• Accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, EBT and eWIC for items purchased.
• Assist customers with questions, find products, and bag purchases.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shift to ensure accuracy.
• Offer all customers the “push item” for the week.
• Greet customers during checkout and thank them at the end of each transaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
