Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Teller to serve as a frontline ambassador in our branch network, delivering accurate transactions and a welcoming customer experience.

The role emphasizes cash handling, compliance, and collaboration with team members to meet daily banking needs while promoting digital tools and services to customers across our Vermont locations, including Springfield.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete internal teller and product training.
• Willingness to travel for training between branches as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and balance cash drawer.
• Provide friendly, accurate service and educate customers on digital tools.
• Engage customers to identify needs and refer to specialists as appropriate.
• Support branch operations and lobby management to ensure smooth customer flow.
• Answer calls professionally and direct inquiries per bank standards.
• Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
