Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is seeking a motivated Porter to support daily operations and customer satisfaction. You will manage the lot, assist estimators and techs by moving vehicles, and provide shuttle service as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, the ability to lift 30 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and the capacity to work outdoors in varying weather. Training and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must have visual acuity that meets Maryland MVA requirements in order to operate company and customer vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile.
• Wash exterior and vacuum interior of vehicles (detailing experience a plus).
• Assist estimators and technicians by moving customer vehicles to and from the shop.
• Provide shuttle service to customers when requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of lot and keep floors dry.
• Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
