Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a front-end associate to be the point of contact for customers and help maintain plan-o-grams. You will stock merchandise, assist shoppers, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

Duties include unloading trucks, building displays, and keeping the store clean and organized to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also cover restocking, assisting with merchandising orders via handheld scanners, and following company policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guides.
• Basic cash handling knowledge and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; store or stock on floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate items.
• Assist customers and locate products.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners.
• Keep front end clean and assist with displays.
