Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash registers and scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety and procedural guidelines.
• Ability to train and lead store employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, and rotating on shelves.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Assist implementation and maintenance of planograms and store presentation.
• Support cash control and refunds; count tills and deposit money.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
