Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock and display merchandise, and process transactions. The role supports profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, greeting customers, operating the cash register, and assisting with ordering merchandise as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and ringing up purchases.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep front end clean and assist with sidewalk displays as needed.
