Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate for our New York stores. The role emphasizes delivering a high-quality customer experience, greeting customers warmly, promoting specials, and maintaining store standards.

You will report store activity, assist in safe operations, and support the company’s customer service program on-site. The position requires basic English literacy, ability to lift 30 pounds, and adherence to policy during emergencies and fluctuating shifts.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol per regulations.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk and beverages.
• Remain calm and respond according to policies in emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, store).
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
• Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Suggest purchases and promote specials.
• Execute the customer service program at the site level.
• Communicate with management on store operations in a timely manner.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports as per guidelines.
