Job summary

Cavender's in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, recommending products, and building lasting relationships. You will keep the store clean and visually appealing, stay on top of promotions and merchandise, assist with stock and housekeeping, and support daily store operations while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to effectively sell merchandise while achieving individual and store performance goals.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting every customer, engaging with them throughout their shopping experience, and thanking them for their business.
• Build customer relationships by identifying needs, recommending products, and providing knowledgeable, personalized service.
• Use effective selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, company programs, and current Western and workwear trends.
• Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and locating merchandise throughout the store.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise, recovering displays, and completing housekeeping tasks.
