Job summary

Majors Management-Maritime Farms in Maine is seeking a Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, operate cash registers, and keep the store clean and organized. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure accurate pricing and attractive displays.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. High school or GED is preferred; prior retail experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Customer service experience desired.
• Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Read, understand and speak English at an eighth-grade level.
• Basic math, computer and POS skills required.

Responsibilities

• Meet company customer service standards.
• Follow company cash control policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all laws and regulations regarding the sale of any government regulated products and services.
• Detail cleaning of store interior and exterior according to company standards.
• Stock and rotate products including coolers and/or freezers.
• Complete training activities and meet minimum job performance standards.
• Follow the company’s general rules of conduct and code of ethics.
• Other duties as assigned.
