Job summary

Ace Retail Group operates Westlake Ace Hardware stores and is seeking a Sales Associate for a Kansas location. The role contributes to receiving, stocking, pricing and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, retail experience preferred, and the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb as needed. Compensation is $12.00 per hour with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
• Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
