Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to policies on cash shortages/overages and loss prevention.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety programs.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management; inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions across the store.
