Job summary

Kroger in Troy, MI is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service, bag groceries, and help customers in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in keeping the store clean and organized while greeting customers with a helpful attitude.

Retail experience is welcome but not required; opportunities for growth exist as you learn the store layout and product locations. Flexible scheduling may be available to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers and strive to bag at least five items per bag.
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products within the store.
• Keep shelves and aisles clean; respond to spills and trash pickup in/store and parking lot.
• Understand store layout and assist customers with price checks and directions.
