Goodwill of the Finger Lakes in Cortland, NY is seeking a friendly cashier to operate the cash register, assist shoppers, and keep the store clean, neat, and safe for customers.

This position may also be cross-trained to help with stocking, pricing, and processing donations, with an emphasis on excellent customer service, teamwork, and adherence to store policies during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competenze

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet customers within 10 seconds of arrival.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Record sales using the cash register and properly package merchandise.
• Ask every customer for a Round-up donation and maintain a 25% round up average.
• Ensure accurate payment collection and proper till balance.
• Maintain the sales floor, displays, and inventory in a neat and safe condition.
• Stock floor with new merchandise and processed donations as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
