Job summary

B’s Ace Hardware in Boise, Idaho is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver quick, accurate service at the register. You will greet customers, process sales, issue receipts, and help maintain a tidy checkout area.

Starting wage is $15.50 per hour. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, with emphasis on a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to learn promotions and the Ace Rewards program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the mystery shop standards.
• Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers.
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked.
• Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card.
• Answer phone calls.
• Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management.
