Job summary

Rural King seeks a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service and a positive customer experience. You will process transactions, assist customers, and promote store programs using POS systems and basic product information.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Answer customer questions and provide basic product information.
• Educate customers about the Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to promptly address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers, complete required paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in cross-training and support other store departments as needed.
