Job summary

Rural King is seeking a friendly, professional Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and accurate transactions. You’ll greet customers, process purchases, and educate them on the RK loyalty program and RK Visa options while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

In this role you’ll follow cashier scripts, handle returns and exchanges, assist with in-store duties, and participate in cross-training across departments to support overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to greet customers, process transactions accurately, and manage a welcoming store environment.
• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities for inquiries and issues.
• Experience with cash handling, billing adjustments, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service at the front end.
• Process transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Educate customers on loyalty programs and available payment options.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock duties, and front windows as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with product information.
• Adhere to policies on returns, exchanges, and price disputes.
• Coordinate with loaders and maintain professional, upbeat communication.
• Maintain register reconciliation and accurate paperwork.
• Assist with cross-training and participate in training programs.
