Job summary

The Financial Services Representative at Carter Bank in Danville, VA will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs with a proactive, personalized approach.

You will process transactions, open accounts, educate customers on self-service options, and refer to partners as needed while delivering an exceptional customer experience that builds trust and financial well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required, some college a plus.
• Successful customer service and /or sales experience required.
• Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and customer servicing, open accounts and refer to partners.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through proactive engagement.
• Identify customer needs and generate referrals to branch and partners.
• Resolve basic issues and escalate unresolved items with accurate answers.
