Job summary

Minnwest Bank is seeking a full-time Assistant Universal Banker for our Slayton, MN location. The successful candidate will provide a professional, courteous customer experience, inform customers about Minnwest products and services, and transition prospects to bankers for retail and business solutions while servicing existing accounts.

Training may require occasional travel to the Minnwest Bank Training Center in Eagan, MN.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months cash handling and customer service experience.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Dependable, organized team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a clear, professional manner.
• Willing to continuously learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service by identifying and recommending bank products and services to fulfill their needs.
• Process routine transactions such as deposits, cash handling, endorsements, receipts, cashier's checks, cashing checks, and paying out funds.
• Proactively transition customers and prospects to achieve sales and service goals.
• Assist customers with account changes or inquiries and resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Comply with Minnwest Bank policies and applicable laws and regulations.
